Made by hand
No molds, no shortcuts, no two exactly alike. Every piece that leaves the shop was touched by hand.

Our story
A working Austin studio for wood, metal, and leather — built on the belief that a well-made object should get better with use, not worse.
SoulCraft Studio is a craft studio built on lineage, tradition, and the belief that honest materials deserve honest hands. We work in three disciplines — wood, metal, and leather — each chosen for its character, history, and the way it responds to skilled craftsmanship.
As an organization, SoulCraft Studio is committed to preserving the spirit of handmade work in a world that moves too fast. We design and build goods meant to last: heirloom-quality woodwork, forged metal pieces, and hand-stitched leather goods. Our mission is simple — make things that matter, make things that last, and make things with soul.
We honor traditional techniques passed down through generations, blending them with modern precision.
We choose wood, metal, and leather for their integrity, durability, and the stories they carry.
We build goods meant to be used, kept, repaired, and passed on — not thrown away.
SoulCraft Studio has grown from a personal craft journey into a full studio dedicated to producing handcrafted goods for customers who value authenticity. We create small-batch items, custom commissions, and limited-run pieces across wood, metal, and leather.
Our studio operates with a simple philosophy: slow craft, honest materials, and work that reflects the maker’s hand. Every product carries the SoulCraft signature — intention, patience, and soul.
SoulCraft Studio exists to preserve the art of making. In a world of mass production, we stand for craftsmanship, heritage, and the belief that handmade goods carry a soul. Our mission is to create meaningful work that honors the past, elevates the present, and inspires the future.

The hands behind the work
Born in the early ’70s and raised on a twelve-acre farm, David learned craft the old-world way — sitting on a stump beside his grandfather, a man born in 1902 who could make anything with his hands. Whittling turned into a lifelong passion for wood, then metalwork, welding, and leathercraft — the three pillars of SoulCraft Studio.
What we stand for
No molds, no shortcuts, no two exactly alike. Every piece that leaves the shop was touched by hand.
Materials are chosen so the patina, the dents, and the wear become part of the piece.
The studio teaches as much as it makes — classes, the Guild, and an open shop floor.
Austin roots
SoulCraft is an Austin studio through and through — the materials, the community, and the pace of the work all come from being here.
